Key Role:
Lay the foundation for being an unexpected oasis by leading the Kitchen Team to deliver trusted and reliable food in a clean and efficient environment. You will lead an area of the business across shifts in such a way that your Team Members and Team Leaders are developing as leaders, engaged with each other and getting results.

As a Kitchen Manager, you are entrusted to lead an entire area of the business. There are several Team Members and Team Leaders as well as a significant amount of resources under your leadership. To be selected for this role you must have the ability to lead a team well. You have strong character, people skills and work ethic and conspicuously produce positive results and developed positive relationships with those you lead. You have the capacity to take on more responsibility with managerial tasks in the business and steward more resources. In this role, you must motivate and coach your Team as you help them to give their best. You have tremendous influence in helping Chick-fil-A continue to be America’s best quick service restaurant.

 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
The Kitchen Director is responsible for:

·       Always delivering crave-able food, in a timely manner, that meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A Quality Requirements

·       Coaching the behaviours of all Team Leaders and Team Members who work in the Kitchen. Those behaviours include:

·       Hustle that creates surprisingly fast Speed of Service

·       Attention to detail that ensures preparation and production procedures are followed

·       Execution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environment

·       Maintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food safety

·       Vigilant attention to the organization and appearance of the kitchen

·       Ensuring the kitchen is ready for a Backstage Tour with a four-minute lead time

·       Inventory management

·       End-of-Month counts and input

·       Effective & efficient ordering to maintain appropriate inventory levels

·       Maintaining a LEAN production environment

·       Coaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all kitchen Team Members

·       Aligning daily practices of Kitchen with the Vision of the organization and with the annual Thematic Goal of the organization
